The Bucs smacked the crap out of the Jags (yes...Trevor shouldn't have been on the field). Did the Jags defense do anything to show they were better than the Bucs defense? Baker threw for more TDs last season than Trevor has ever done as a pro. Yes, the Bucs should be rated higher.

It doesn’t matter what happens this year, Doug is not going to be on the hot seat. He’s taken the worst franchise in football to back to back winning seasons and has a playoff win since being here. Why do you guys keep comparing success to Super Bowl wins. Lamar and josh Allen have put up monster numbers. People aren’t saying “Trevor is a crap QB because he hasn’t won a championship” people are saying that because Trevor hasn’t put up elite numbers. Hasn’t made a pro bowl without being an alternate. The two QBs you mentioned are perennial pro bowlers, regardless of record have been to multiple playoff games, and their play keeps their team in the hunt. And everybody talks about how Trevor brought us back against the chargers but nobody talks about the defense. We turned the ball over 4 times in the first half and kept putting the defense on the field and then in the second half all the jags let up was a field goal. Our defense is a big reason we beat the chargers.

Mia was spot on about bringing up the same scenario when Christian Kirk was signed as a FA WR....the Jags were criticized for overpaying at the time when in reality they were spot on and we've all seen where the WR market has gone since he came here. Kirk looks like a bargain at this point.
